Castilla y León saw another strong increase in exports in 2025, growing by +11.3% in the first half of the year, consolidating its position as one of Spain’s most dynamic exporting regions. This growth contrasts with more moderate national trends and highlights the region’s industrial strength, particularly in the automotive sector.
The total annual volume of exports has risen by over 27% in the last five years, reaching more than 23,000 million euros by mid-2025. Castilla y León now accounts for 5.2% of Spain’s total exports, with a trade surplus of 1,762 million euros, and maintains strong commercial ties with countries like France, which remains its top destination.
